The Weipa Local Disaster Managemnet Group is calling for volunteers to assist with responding to natural disasters in our community, which may include tropical cyclones, severe storms or bushfires.
Becoming a volunteer is a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience with issue and crisis management, valuable training in Disaster Management principles and the opportunity to become a leader within the community.
