Active After School Program - Tennis @ WASP Term 2, 2024
The Active After School Program is proudly run by the Weipa Aquatic & Sports Precinct.
The WASP active after school program is run each term and this term, we are doing Tennis. The weather has cooled down and its a perfect time of year to get back out on the courts. The WASP host 3 full size tennis courts and all the resources to supply each age group with a fun filled and skilled based session.
Participants will learn the fundamental techniques of Tennis, including how to grip the racket, proper stance, footwork, ball skills and swing mechanics for forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. Sessions will also vary with fun games & fitness activities.

• 4.30 - 5.15pm Gr 3 & 4 - tickets here
• 5.15 - 6.00pm Gr 5 + - tickets here
Cost $80p/child - 8wk full term spot.
