2026-2030 Corporate Plan Draft - Have Your Say

Though-out 2025, WTA undertook community and stakeholder engagement to better understand the future needs of Weipa. Thank you for your valuable feedback.

You have told us you want a sustainable, prosperous future for Weipa, supported by a more diversified economy. You want WTA to continue investing in events, sporting and community facilities, and to make honest transparent decisions for the town. You also raised concerns about safety, cleanliness, the rising costs of living and access to services.

Your feedback has been invaluable, and we are pleased to present the draft WTA Corporate Plan 2026-30 for public comment.

The Corporate Plan is a key strategic document that outlines a long-term vision for Weipa and how the WTA will support the community by achieving that vision. This is your opportunity to provide final feedback before the draft plan is adopted by Weipa Town Authority's members ahead of the 2026 - 2027 financial year.
