REQUEST FOR TENDER NO: TEN 26/0302

Weipa Town Authority (WTA) invites tenders to purchase forty-six (46) chairs on an “as is, where is” basis.

The successful buyer must collect all chairs by COB Tuesday 7^th April 2026. The collection of the chairs is the sole responsibility of the successful buyer; no assistance can be offered by Weipa Town Authority. Title and risk to the event backdrop screen pass to the successful buyer immediately on collection. 

A short inspection of the chairs may be undertaken by prior arrangement. Please contact Lauren Hughes at Weipa Town Authority on 4030 9400 to arrange an inspection.

Deadline: Tenders close on Tuesday 31^st March 2026

Lodgement: Tenders may be lodged by hand or by email to admin@weipatownauthority.com.au. Tenders are to be addressed to Tobias Rissman, Superintendent Town.

The highest bidder may not be necessarily accepted.

Canvassing of any Weipa Town Authority members or staff will disqualify tenderers from the tender process.

The successful buyer must collect the Billy goat Leaf Vacuum by COB Tuesday 7^th April 2026. The collection of the vacuum is the sole responsibility of the successful buyer; no assistance can be offered by Weipa Town Authority. Title and risk to the event backdrop screen pass to the successful buyer immediately on collection.
